Sims Medieval: Confusing Quests

It's pretty fun.  For me, at least.  It's the Sims but with storylines you have to follow (i.e. quests) and actual goals to fulfill and levels to hit.  You can even take your time if you want and hang out with friends or make Simoles with your profession.  Oh, and your Sims worship you as their god.  It's awesome.  You, the player, are The Watcher, to whom they created 2 whole religions.

Yet there are a few badly designed quests, which I will list here and add to over time:

Bric-a-Brac - Did this quest with my Blacksmith.  It was weird.  You take a walk in the woods and find a thing, then choose to look around the rabbit hole village in the distance.  On the docks, you just get on the boat and wait for your Sim to finish up.  When it sent me to the big religious tree, I couldn't find anything (I assumed it was the tree between the two churches), but then I found something in the mining node just outside the Blacksmith's cottage.  Also, the Bear that's supposed to be in the throne room?  I had to look it up -- you sit on the throne to find it.  Not an intuitive quest at any point.

Fiddle - When your king is jester for the day, you need a fiddle.  Get one at the Village Shoppe (rabbit hole in the distance).  Do NOT buy a lute.  You can't use a lute.  You need the fiddle.  Just select the list to show only "Items" and look at the names and you'll find it.

Inquisition - Peteran Priest - Not sure if this is different for the Jacobans, but to identify 4 Peteran heretics you have to "Get to Know" the four Peterans that hang around your church all day.  Specifically, use the Friendly interaction "Get to Know."  It has nothing to do with the friendship meter, and you do not need to run around converting people and "Getting to Know" them for three Sim days (like I did).  It's the 4 that are there the whole time during this quest.

Legendary Fountain
The awesome thing with this Quest is that it gives your chosen Sim a Legendary Trait instead of your Fatal Flaw.  I can't wait to do one of these for my Glutton!!!  He's a huge pain to feed.  >.<

  • Naptime Tea - Get thee to a beer or wine cask.  Click "Brew" and select Naptime Tea from list of recipes.  If you don't have the right ingredients, you'll need to go get them.
  • Proof of Flaw - Get your personal Flaw Debuff the way the quest instructs you (i.e. "Try to Doze" in a bed until you get "Can't Sleep") and go back to the forest clearing.  Click the signpost to head to the fountain.
  • Source - For more things you just can't figure out in this one.
